Class with Jenny Day 2

Again another fun day. Some of the folks finished hooking their rug and went on to walnut dye their rug. I was not one of those people.

All but one of the class chose a Jenny Smallridge pattern. They can be found on her website the Wooly Horse. I cannot say enough good things about having Jenny as a teacher. Her sister Lori was her helper and she's just as nice as Jenny.

So, on with the show. One person left before the throw down. She did the pumpkin rug. It was fantastic.

The Tulip

The Folky Horse

I'm unsure of the name of this one.

The Hen. This is the one I chose to hook. I added a flower to mine.

This was hooked by Connie Bradley who runs
Wool Yankers in Wellington Ohio. She had been hooking on a large horse rug, then yesterday afternoon she decided she wanted to hook the hen. And finished it today. Wow.
This is hers, stained and trimmed up.

The Robin is not a Jenny pattern.

I know Lauren loves for me to include a picture of her (not), but she was looking good today. And so studious looking.

Tomorrow I head the other direction to Millersburg Ohio for a class with Kris Miller. Fun, fun, and more fun.
