The newly formed Hook & Thread Society met for the second time on Sunday. We had five in attendance. It's good to make new friends. Here's a couple of the gals hooking away.
This is my rug. I had a piece of not very wide linen. Actually I have several pieces like this. I've drawn on it several times, a Halloween cat, then there were two cats, and now there's ten hearts. I had to sew on some flannel strips to the sides as it was not wide enough to stay on my frame.
I got this far at the Society.
Then yesterday was a blah day for me, so I hooked, then hooked some more. So far I've just used worms. But I'm running very low on the neutrals for the background and I'm two strips short of the dusty pink for the border. I'll have to look for that pink and then wait til I see Lauren to cut it. I believe it is a 9 cut and I don't have that size.
The day begins. Soon Mac will be here as we wait for the bus. The little fella is growing up. He will kiss me goodbye at home, but not at the bus stop in front of the other kids.
Have a good day. Sue
I hope to make it down for one of your hooking days soon…even though it is quite a hike.
ReplyDeleteGreat projects being worked on. I love Sheila’s Santa.
I can’t believe what you have accomplished on your 🤍🤍🤍 rug. I guess I need a blah day 🤣🤣🤣
