Last night I attended our local quilting/sewing group in Shelby. Six months ago you could purchase a Christmas panel and make it into a quilt. Well, last night was the night to show them. This by far was the best. My friend Heather made this quilt.
Cute. Right??
Now take a closer look. The wreath has body parts on it.
The border has eyeballs.
The rat is eating Santa's leg.
And the cute little snowmen are evil. Look at their teeth.
She is so creative. Some of the parts are appliqued, but most she hand paints. I was in awe.
She said one of the best parts is she can display it from Halloween til Christmas.

Please pass on my "Well Done!" to Heather. A fantastic quilt that gave me the giggles. Even more when I saw the octopus tentacles hanging out the windows.
