It's Monday, Again

Home again. If you read Lauren's blog then you know we went on a little adventures. We went to the Fall Festival put on by Jenny Smallridge of The Wooly Horse. I had a really good time. I told myself I was not,WAS NOT, going to buy any wool. But the wool was just so lovely that I ended up buying three quarter yard pieces and a pattern. The pattern I'm going to save and hook with Chrisi when she comes to teach at our guild next April.

At retreat I was able to finishI finish the geometricfor lack of a better description. It's not quite as I had imagined, but still good.

I started and almost finished this Notforgotten Farm pattern. Again I asked Lori if I could enlarge and hook it, she said yes. Another yay!! I finished at Hook &Thread Society.

Yesterday was Hook and Thread. Only Barb and I were able to attend. Valerie and Lauren were tuckered out from the drive Saturday, Michelle and Jo were headed to Michigan for the Holland Rug Camp, Karyn was busy, and Vickie had to work. We still got to see Vickie as she works at the Ontario library.

Barb started a new rug at Fall Fling. I told her she must like circles as one of her last rugs was a large penny rug with a red background.

Fall is halfway over. Some days are just lovely. Other days are rainy, and cold. A reminder that old man winter is knocking at the door. Here are the trees on each side of my driveway.

It's gonna be a great week. Sue
