Hooked Rug
These are some of my more recent finishes. Last summer we formed a local rug hooking group, it's great, close to home, fun people and the folks organizing it bring in a local teacher who brings what we all need - more wool. Last week Connie Bradley, from Wool Yankers, was there. She gave us a class on hooking birds and adding legs, top feathers, or whatever. It was such fun. I just need to finish them up.
I sure wish i had made labels for my rugs. I don't remember the year it was hooked or even the name of the pattern or designer. I even bought special permanent markers to make pretty little labels. That was a year ago.

Hi Sue, thanks for your comment on my blog. Your little birds turned out so nice.
ReplyDeleteI hook rugs too but haven't hooked since last winter. My gardens keep me busy in the summer. I design all my own rugs but they are not primitive. I hope you'll stop by my blog again.
Take care and enjoy the rest of the summer.
