A Game i Play With Myself

I count the squares. How many more are left? How many squares can I get hooked today?

I keep an index card.

                                  Wednesday.   Thursday

 Square started.           16.                       8.

 Square empty.               4.                       3.

 Square completed.     15.                     24.

This motivates me. Well it did for a while. Then it got to be really boring and I rolled it up and put it in the corner.

Waiting for the school bus. Both of them love kids. Not just my grandchildren, but all children. I believe Henry thinks the whole world is here to pet him. He sits with his right paw up and just waits. He's so sweet. Daisy is much more feisty. She will knock them over in her greetings.

I bought 20 bags of mulch today. My flower gardens are getting greener by the day. Spring has arrived in Ohio. Yay.

  1. If mind games we play gets us further through a boring task, great. Until it no longer works, lol. You'll get'r done eventually and it is looking great.

  2. I'm doing a hit or miss too so I get it. I leave mine out and just pick away at it when I have a minute...then sometimes it sucks me in and I don't want to move on. But mine is not as large as yours. I know dogs and children have something special going on. Your dogs are so cute.

  3. That is a sweet picture of your dogs. Knowing they are waiting on kids made me smile. When you do finish your rug I know it will be so pretty and useful. Nice things about our crafts is we can be our own boss. No deadlines! Happy mulching. Our part of Ohio is too wet and soggy right now. I look forward to tidying up the beds soon (I hope) Meanwhile birds are singing their hearts out. We have one robin I would love to kidnap and rehome though. Several times a day he flies into two of our windows. Not hard enough to hurt himself but is so annoying! Funny thing is, either this one or his father did the same thing last spring

  4. I love the mindlessness of a hit and miss, but it can get boring. Hopefully it won’t be banished to the corner for long 🤣🤣🤣
Henry and Daisy are too stinkin’ cute ♥️🐾
I haven’t gotten mulch in years because my gardens are so full, but hopefully this will be the year!

  5. I just saw my tulips popping out here in Michigan. YAY Even though you put your hit and miss away, it was looking good. Janice
