Back to the 70s

As in weather, not time. I'm a snowbird - Ohio to Georgia. I don't like being cold, neither here or there. But it sure is nice to be sitting in the sun, absorbing the rays and feeling all warm. It's still green here with the last of the flowers blooming.

Henry and Marley like it too. They were playing outside and barking at each other, and then at me. I love these two silly dogs.

I'm going to a rug hooking camp in January. My plan is to hook a rug depicting these two. It should be lots of fun. Good times, good people, good food.

And food? Today is Thanksgiving. Lots of yummily delicious food.

It Snowed

Today was I had planned to leave for Georgia. Ah... Sunshine and 60s again. Instead I woke up to this.

• We're under a level one snow emergency. The snow started last evening as sleet, then turned to snow. I will let them get the roads cleaned up and take off tomorrow. I had to look, and I mean really look, to find my snowbrush. I had a friend in Georgia see my snowbrush and ask what it was. It does snow in southern Georgia maybe once a year, but it's gone by 10am the next day. 
• So.. Tomorrow it is.

The Tooth Fairy Did Not Come

So. Last week I said big dog, AKA Marley, had oral surgery and they removed 5 teeth. Nerve roots exposed, one crumbling,etc. Once he heals he will be feeling so much better. For now, he's enjoying the canned foods and treats. But alas, the tooth fairy did not come.
